Helen Carnac Each Other Bowl Vitreous Enamel on Steel

£875.00

“I rarely start with a function in mind. I am usually prompted by the inherent qualities of the material and I also try to express my interest in the relationship between mass and line.”

By Helen Carnac
Materials: Vitreous Enamel on Steel
Techniques: Fine silver to evoke a feeling of fragility, rough lines are scribed and burnt into the surface of this precious metal. These fragile forms are then trapped into various landscapes of steel, pearwood, maple and plaster.
Dimensions: Ø 16.5 cm, H; 8.5cm
Care: Wipe with a damp cloth.
