The Light of Noon

Glass by Celia Dowson
&
Edmond Byrne

Long noon light filtering through fuchsia, coral and indigo-hued glass. Fares of the sun captured in the depth of the glass forms. There is a familiar recognition in their everyday nature; crisp beakers and bowls, tall vases. But, the long light, through the body's colour, pulls out the extraordinary.

Dusk falls light passes through the breadth of fuchsia; from pink to rose to rumba red, in its last light call.
