Opening the solo exhibition of potter Akiko Hirai, with whom we have worked for 15 years, we will hold a special daytime Private View with breakfast pastries catered by Pophams Bakery.

This Private View and the exhibition will be taking place at the gallery: 1-5 Needham Road, London, W11 2RP

About the Exhibition - Rin-ne Tensho 輪廻転生

For our Summer Show, Akiko Hirai returns with a solo exhibition of new work. Creating this exhibition, Akiko was deeply inspired by her daily walking commute to the studio - noticing the change of seasons, the rain and the greenery. Her abstract surfaces capture this gentle seasonality: she explains how, “it comes naturally, with handmade things they reflect what you see.” This new collection therefore speaks to brighter days and a sense of growth.
